2025 Wedding Color Trends:

It’s a new year which means the new 2025 wedding color trends are here from three major trendsetters – Pantone, Etsy, and Minted + Brides! They each picked their own color of the year, offering a fun and unique palette to think about when planning your wedding, events, and more. From intense neutrals to light & airy these colors are a great jumping off board. Or if you already have your heart set on a specific palette then these can be fun to just look at and move on.

2025 Wedding Color Trends To Consider

Pantone: Mocha Mousse

Up first, Pantone’s 2025 Color of the Year is Mocha Mousse. Pantone is touting it as a color to capture connection, comfort, & harmony. Picking a color from the brown family may seem boring but if you really look at the specific color they picked and the richness it contains, there’s a lot of possibility in ways of using mocha mousse. It’s a very soft & warm brown which adds a luxurious feel. The softness you can feel from the color can also pair very well with so many floral palettes to give you an ultra luxe moment.

I personally love the idea of having another neutral color to play with when creating everything from invitations to wedding day signage. Black along of grays are great for some weddings (especially black tie) but having shades of browns can add a new dimension to color palettes. It’s a color that can stand on it’s own and be bold with warm brown tones but it also lends a nice balance to other colors you want to include in your palette. So don’t be afraid of adding a little brown to your wedding color palettes this year!

Etsy: Lime Cream

Now for a right turn to Etsy’s pick for 2025, which is Lime Cream. This color is so different from Pantone’s pick and is all about serene vibes. While Pantone is looking globally for a color Etsy is more about picking a color trend they see in products, fashion, home decor, style, etc. Lime Cream is a nod to nostalgia while also being a light and airy neutral that can be paired with bolder palettes. In the same way I liked the brown as a more bold neutral to play off of, Lime Cream is similar in that it’s a good base to start with.

I see so much versatility with lime cream and have already seen designs trending this direction over the past year. From lots of greenery mixed in with florals to green linens it’s already out there! Green seems to always be pretty popular and this Lime Cream just adds another direction to take the green family. I love the variety of greens available already in paper and envelope colors, so if you’re looking for a more monochromatic look that still has personality then green is a great option!

Minted + Brides: Verona Sunset

The last color I’ll touch on for 2025 is Minted + Bride’s choice of Verona Sunset. This color is all about being bold and is actually the only color trend that it’s main focus is weddings. And I love it! I’m all about being bold and adding in pops of fun colors. This color is all about making a statement, it’s not here to add another neutral to build off of. Since it is such a bold color it might not be for everyone but that’s ok. If it is your vibe then I say go all in!

I love thinking of all the possible ways to add this bold orange to your wedding day from florals & dresses to paper and signage. I also love the versatility of this no matter what season your wedding is. You can add a lighter pastel palette of pinks with a pop of orange for spring or go all out with bold colors in summer. In the fall or winter you can move it more towards a vintage feel with rust accents and deep blacks to give it more elegance. Picking any of these directions is sure to be a fun way to go this year!
