Alicia & Kyle’s Pennsylvania Farmhouse Wedding

Armstrong Farms: Saxonburg, Pennsylvania

Alicia & Kyle’s farmhouse wedding took place on a snowy and sparkly March day. The wedding took place in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, which is about an hour outside of Pittsburgh. The ceremony was at a church and the rest of the festivities were at Armstrong Farm.

Every detail of the wedding was custom designed to fit the rustic yet modern farmhouse wedding theme. Which included lots of blush and golds with a hint of sea foam green.

The save the dates set the initial feel by being completely handlettered. They were printed on a textured paper with blush watercolor in the background.

The invitation suite continued the same feel with watercolor background and a whimsical font. Also, the invites stepped it up a notch with gold foil stamped lettering and gold textured paper on the back side. The whole suite was finished off with twine, calligraphy addressed envelopes, and individually embossed return addresses on the back.

The day of designs included:

Hand lettered menus on mirrors
Laser printed cake topper
Luggage tag escort cards done in calligraphy with shimmering gold ink
Customized table numbers relating to the couples travels.

The overall effect was a whimsical and rustic scene that complemented the brides blush wedding dress and the groom’s charcoal tux with sea foam green tie.
